Sweetdream, for people leaving because of price. Its free tier is a product rather than a trailer, and chats open with a scene instead of a questionnaire. Memory is shorter than Nomi's, and it repeats itself in long sessions.
Kupid AI, for people who want the same kind of phone experience. Like Replika, it has real native apps, and its characters lean affectionate rather than explicit. Premium plans are expensive, and memory is shallower than the top apps.

What Replika still does better

If those are what you value, staying on the free tier and adding a second app for what is missing is a reasonable option.
Moving without losing your companion
Nothing exports between these apps, but a character is mostly a description. Before you cancel:
