What an affiliate link is
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and take out a paid plan, we may earn a commission from the provider. You pay the same price either way.
What it does not change
Ratings, positions in the ranking and the lists of pros and cons are set by the editorial team before any commercial conversation. A provider cannot buy a position, have criticism removed, or have a competitor dropped. Apps with no affiliate programme are tested and ranked exactly like the rest — two of the seven apps in our current ranking pay us nothing.
How to spot them
Affiliate links carry the sponsored attribute in the page source and always sit
next to a notice that says so.
